How Can I Get Involved?

Come Into Our Day Center.

Our Day Center has a dual purpose serving as the home base for our guests and our administrative headquarters.

What would I be doing? Volunteers in our Day Center help us out with a variety of administrative tasks including answering phones, organizing supplies, and light cleaning around our offices. By utilizing their individual strengths, our volunteers consistently impact our families by assisting with resumes, helping kids with homework, playing games, and lending a listening ear.

When would I be needed? Typically, our volunteers serve shifts anywhere from 2 to 5 hours on a weekly, biweekly, or monthly basis. Most of our volunteers work with us for upwards of a year or two and many have been with us since we opened our doors.

Why is this important? The caring and loving individuals who come into our office offer a helping hand to our small staff and ensure that our families are well-loved and served. Flexibility is key in our office and these individuals make that possible with their consistent presence.

If you are interested in getting involved, please complete the Volunteer Application below and our staff will be in touch with you shortly.

Drive Our Mini Bus or Car.

Every morning and afternoon, our guests are transported in between the host church and the Day Center in our mini bus or car.

What will I be doing? These drivers’ help kids get to and from school, day care, or camp and provide parents with transport to work, medical appointments, or job interviews, as needed. No special license is required to drive our mini bus or car.

When will I be needed? We’re looking for substitute drivers who can fill in for our regularly scheduled drivers if they are out of town or otherwise unable to drive. We offer training to our new drivers and a schedule will be developed based you’re your availability.

Why is this important? Our consistent drivers and substitute drivers provide a vital service to our families, our staff, and our churches. Without their service, we would not be able to accept families that do not have transportation.

If you are interested in getting involved, please complete the Volunteer Application below and our staff will be in touch with you shortly.
